The AMD Advantage

Approximately 40 years of experience in the FPGA market, with a product life cycle of over 15 years suitable for the industrial field

Problems that AMD FPGA can solve

Unlike ASICs, FPGAs are devices whose functional configuration can be changed after manufacturing, enabling them to quickly respond to diverse market demands.
By using FPGAs, users can enjoy the following benefits:

  • By incorporating our own unique functions into the circuit, we were able to achieve this processing speed.
  • It is now possible to respond to market demands without waiting for SoC manufacturer releases
  • Retaining design information in-house makes EOL measures easier
  • Supports a variety of interfaces, enabling the adoption of competitive peripheral products

Evaluation Board

An evaluation board is an electronic circuit board used during development to evaluate performance and determine whether or not a product can be applied to the product.
AMD evaluation boards come with a development license specific to that board.
In addition, AMD's evaluation boards use relatively large devices, allowing them to be used for a long time for development of all sizes.
Reference designs will also be released for these evaluation boards, so we recommend these when developing AMD FPGAs. Below are the representative boards currently on sale. If you would like a series other than those listed, please contact us separately.
