QuickLogic's EOS™ S3-equipped CPU module and dedicated evaluation board exhibited at CEATEC JAPAN 2017; demonstration of voice recognition remote control without cloud connection

At CEATEC JAPAN 2017 (October 3-6, Makuhari Messe, Chiba Prefecture), we will be showcasing IoT and other applications.
We will be exhibiting a CPU module equipped with QuickLogic's EOS™ S3, which was developed to support this system, as well as a dedicated evaluation board.
Using this system, it will be easy to evaluate various sensor control processes such as acceleration, gyro, and geomagnetism, as well as voice recognition functions using microphone input. At the CEATEC venue, a demonstration of a standalone voice recognition remote control that does not require a cloud connection will be conducted using this newly developed environment.

Our evaluation system allows you to verify the functionality of QuickLogic's EOS™ S3 Sensor Processing Platform and
You can easily start your own design development. This evaluation system is divided into two parts: the EOS™ S3 CPU module and the dedicated development evaluation board. The CPU module is equipped with the EOS™ S3 SoC, 9-axis sensor, FLASH memory, clock, and DC/DC converter, and can realize sensor processing functions on its own and voice recognition functions with an external microphone.
The dedicated evaluation board is an expansion board equipped with UART, I2C, GPIO ports and a microphone interface, etc.
These make it easy to develop and verify the functionality of your design. The CPU module is 25mm x 25mm in size with a pin pitch of 2.54mm, making it easy to implement standalone (on your own board).
The module is supported by QuickLogic's Open Platform Reference Software.
Samples of the EOS™ S3 CPU module and dedicated evaluation board are scheduled to be distributed by the end of the year. Mass production of the CPU module is targeted for next fiscal year. If you have any questions, please contact our Device Solutions Technology Department.

We develop ultra-low power, multi-core voice-enabled SoCs, embedded FPGA IP, display bridges and programmable logic solutions.
As a distributor of QuickLogic Corporation, the company aims to expand sales through sales of the newly announced CPU module and dedicated development evaluation board.
