It is especially used for packages of size 3216 or larger and for direct connection lines to automotive batteries.

The SCM series achieves high voltage resistance (5.0V to 9.0V) by connecting electric double layer capacitors in series and forming a module structure.
The realization of high voltage resistance, high capacity, and low SR makes it suitable for a variety of applications, including battery backup, peak power assist, and energy harvesting.
The SCC series (2.7V, 1F to 3000F) with a general-purpose structure is also available.
